Property very poorly kept, very outdated in the rooms, workmanship very poor. Looks nothing like the pictures on the web. Would not recommend!

Housekeeping only came by once and I was there for 7 days. The appearance was not welcoming, there were old blood stains on one of my pillowcases aling with green mold on it, there was a crusty dried stain behind the sink handles, the sink and tub drains were clogged, marks all over the shower wall, shower head did not work. The curtains did not close all the way, centipedes in the room. I think it's crazy how they had 3 different hotel name signs and they were up before renovations were done. By the looks of it, they aren't even close. This used to be a really nice Holiday Inn Express years ago but was messed up because someone wanted to fix what wasn't broken. Hardly and air came from the AC. I worked at a well known hotel for 3 years and if I had worked for this one I'd be mortified. Never again will I stay at this one. Even the steps to upstairs were rusted and sitting away. There were stains on the towels. Is this hod you would expect for a room to be if it were you who were staying there? Do not stay here.

They view of Pilot Mountain is great. The staff is friendly and hospitable. The room is clean. Only dislike, the "picnic area" needs a facelift.
