We had a gorgeous corner room with a nice view. The room was comfortable but no coffee maker. The proprietor licks the doors at 11 pm and doesn’t unlock them until 7:30 the next morning. The doors to the interior stairs and the elevator also are locked. We wanted to leave before 7:30 am so had to take the exterior spiral metal staircase carrying our luggage.

The hotel was situated in a beautiful and quiet location. We chose the room with a river view, which was lovely. However the room was quite stuffy and we did try to open the window to cool the room down but it was still warm, it didn’t have an air-con setting. Also my bed was quite soft so the topper kept moving about as it was quite light so it made for an uncomfortable sleep. This has only happened in this hotel and I have stayed in 7 different hotels and I have no complaints with the other beds. As the hotel charged for parking, we parked in the car park in front of the hotel and left before 8am. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant hotel - Restaurant Ellen . Food was delicious. Highly recommend it.

Location is superb and grounds are gorgeous! It’s also an easy walk to town and to the Staircase hike which is amazing. Front desk staff was super nice and helpful! True about the lack of AC and it was rather warm during my stay. Overall the benefits of the place outweighed it!

Room is very small and has one full size bed to sleep for 2 small people. Unfortunately my husband and I are not small. We hardly fit into the bed. Breakfast is very nice. Super EV charger next to hotel is a plus.

We stayed for one night. A nice hotel with a great location close to shopping and restuarants. Breakfast was amazing and greatly exceeded expectations. The only negative thing we can say is that we had two single beds pushed together in our room. This was surprising given the high price of the rooms.

Very nice hotel. Wonderful dinner. Very understanding about allergies. Walking distance to town. Only negative was we had to leave early and the receptionist said there would be a bag breakfast to take but never told the kitchen staff. The woman working in the morning was kind and helpful.

We had a car breakdown on the Lofotes and therefore had to delay some hotels as the car needed to be repaired two days long. We called the hotel, explained our situation and even they had enough free rooms at the delayed day, they did not want to give us a room for free as the room was already paid before. This is no service at all, other hotels helped us in that situation and delayrd our stays without hesitating or additional costs. So therefore, this arrogant service and the hotel get 1 Star (should be 0). I can not tell anything about the hotel building and its rooms as we did not stay there after this horrible experience.
