the location is definitely unique - it would be nice to know the history of that building and why it is there. It is very clean and there is everything a guest needs except a laundry facility.

Despite the scruffy exterior and location close to the city dump, the interior was very well maintained, clean and sleepable. The area outside the building did not smell either (only the drive to/from the building) Good as a jumping off point near Reykjavik if you want to go do the golden circle as you are already in the outskirts of town.

Like a number of guesthouses in Iceland, this is a former educational boarding facility. It is in the middle of nowhere, but the view is amazing, it is clean, the other occupants were pleasant and there were plenty of bathrooms and showers. Food is close by in Mossfellsbaer and the kitchen facilities were good. Lots of parking.

Needed a place to sleep. The guesthouse was with clean rooms. It was quiet. You really need a car to get there. The price was cheap. We got what we needed. Will book again. There are no shops around.

Room was not cleaned before our check-in, we found wet towels in the bed. This was the second place we stayed at and the water had a weird smell. Only book if you plan on being out the whole day. It was far from anything including food.

Comfortable room, nice showers - lockbox unclear

Great stay, though clearly out of town. The only challenge we had was understanding that the code was for a lockbox, which had the key for the room. We were unfamiliar with this kind of lock box, so entered the code - fiddled with the lever, etc. with no luck. Another guest had figured out how to get the lockbox open - revealing the key. I would make this part clearer, and it's even more of a winner.

This is a great place to just sleep and go (which is what we did) They have a shared FULL kitchen which is awesome to cook your own food to save some money from the food prices in Iceland. My only problems with this stay: no staff. at all. so if you wanted extra towels- tuff. my blanket was clearly stained from previous guests but you could tell it was cleaned- but it was really off putting to see that and couldn't really do anything about it either.

Beautiful location and very clean/quiet facility that is unique and interesting. Only drawback is that there is a garbage mill near by which is very odorous in the evening/night, and the building is showing some signs of aging

レイキャビクから25km、ケプラヴィーク空港から67kmの半島にある宿泊施設です。2回別で宿泊したのですが室内に洗面所のある部屋とない部屋があるようです。周辺に何もない為とても静かでゆっくり過ごせました。

レイキャビクから車で30分程の半島にあり、周辺に何もない為とても静かに過ごすことが出来ます。チェックイン2日前に部屋番号と暗証番号が送られ24時間入室可能。シャンプー類はありませんので持参が必要、滞在は2Fでしたが10程度の部屋数に対してトイレ、シャワーは3つあり十分足ります。ゲストハウスとありますが日本でいう研修施設のようなものでゆったりしています。色々コストのかかるアイスランドではおすすめかと思います。
