Just the architecture of the Q is so unique as it had been a Quonset hut from WWII. There are 10 rooms and ours had a generous furnished patio with a gas fire pit. The room was a generous size, beautifully and comfortably furnished. The Q’s location on Main Street is close to the beach and otter hangout. A little longer walk takes you easily to downtown. We will definitely return!

Room waa super clean. It was decorated so nicely. Love the bathroom it was beautiful. Cleaning came in daily. Even had waters at front to grab if you needed one. Would definitely stay again. Wifi was great. Everything was either via a code or remotes...high tech.

Excellent stay. Incredibly comfortable room. The bed was a dream - on the firmer side but supportive and soft at the same time. The shower and bathroom was beautiful. Really loved the included exfoliating mat, the electric shades on the windows, and ceiling fan. Easy check in/check out process. We absolutely loved our stay and couldn't recommend it more!

The building was very unique, gorgeous and well done! The room was beautiful and clean. The shower was amazing. The bed was a tad bit uncomfortable but much better than other hotels. It was easy to access our room and the building. Loved that it was small and one story. Close to the beach, food and shopping. We will definitely be staying at The Q Inn again.

Hands down one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in: I spent two nights and two days here with my girlfriend for our 2 year anniversary. Everything was new and clean, the room was incredibly nice and decorated very well, the entire atmosphere and concept of the hotel is so cool and unique and the prices are very reasonable. Service and hospitality were also great, I met Orion and John who were both wonderful! Can't say enough good things and will definitely be coming back as well as recommending to friend's and family!

The room exceeded my expectations. Everything was modern and great. The room was amazing and you get a private outdoor fire pit. Bathroom was immaculate and my son loved the plush blankets. When I left and the owner saw me struggling with my son and luggage he grabbed a bag and helped me to my car. Would stay here again! It’s also so close and convenient to Morro Rock.

What a hidden gem in Morro Bay! The Q Inn is unlike anywhere we've stayed before. I loved learning that the property is a beautifully restored WWII Quonset hut—such a unique piece of history. The room was spotless and beautifully designed with soaring curved ceilings, warm wood floors, modern finishes, and an incredibly comfortable bed. The bathroom felt luxurious with the walk-in shower and upscale touches. We didnt get to use it but our private patio with a fire table was such a nice bonus. Everything felt fresh, thoughtfully designed, and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, and it's obvious they've put a lot of care into preserving the building while creating a comfortable, boutique hotel experience. If you're looking for something different from the typical chain hotel, The Q Inn is absolutely worth it. We'd definitely stay here again! 10/10 — clean, quiet, unique, and full of character.

Super unique and amazing property! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bed was so comfy. Rooms were extra, extra clean! Orion, was helpful and friendly. A lot of thought was put into this property. Just so sad I had to leave and wish I could’ve stayed many more nights! If you’re ever in Morro Bay, this is the place to stay! You will love it as much as I did. I can’t wait to come back next year! The room finishes were beautiful and the hotel was very quiet and relaxing. We had a quick weekend getaway and the Q Inn exceeded all expectations. The only downside was checking in and difficulty with the keypad locks on the room door. I made multiple attempts to contact staff and receive our room codes before finally having to call. Staff was apologetic and finally texted the codes necessary. It would be nice to have that information. In advance at least 24 hours. However, I understand with people checking out, codes must be changed. The actual keypad on the door was very sensitive so that took a few tries. Overall I would definitely stay again, just a couple of things to keep in mind.

This newly remodeled, quaint property was a lovely experience. The property itself is pretty no frills -- no onsite staff, no food service or vending machine -- and operates like an short-term rental where you are messaged access codes. But the rooms are upscale and comfortable. We had a dog so stayed in the ADA room which allows dogs. The patio was private and a great place to relax and the fire pit is a very nice touch. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Can easily walk to a number of breakfast places. The staff/owner was a bit slow to respond to texts when we weren't sure how to get it but we figured it out. Note to anyone booking on Expedia: you'll likely get the check in information as Expedia messages not email or text, so check here for the info.

The Q Inn was the perfect getaway and a beautifully designed place to stay. I loved the thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property—from the historic touches displayed around the inn to the journal in the room where guests can leave their names and comments, and even the stunning shower. It’s clear the owners put a great deal of care and effort into creating a unique and welcoming experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be returning in the future.
