Nicola's breakfasts were wonderful. Full of lovely homemade delicacies. Both Nicola and Chris made us feel welcome and had wonderful insight into the history of this very quiet, little town. My daughter and I recommend highly!
A lovely home, delightful hosts, wonderful room with a comfortable bed, and the best three dogs! Thank you Nicola and Chris for opening up your home -- we have had an amazing experience and have been the beneficiaries of your grace and kindness. A superb bed and breakfast.
It was like adream come true. Even though we did not have a car to get around , the owners gave us a contact so we were picked up when we needed it. Otherwise we walked around the most beautiful cottage area, it was peaceful, relaxing and the owners were very enjoyable. The breakfast every morning was very good.
Other than what we expected, this accommodation involves staying at the home of a couple, who takes care of you and serves breakfast in their living room. The offered room is upstairs which you reach after passing the common areas, where you also have to take off your shoes. What isn’t mentioned in Expedia unfortunately is that the owner has dogs which are present also inside the house. They gave us a warm welcome as soon as we arrived, literally jumping into our car. At first, this didn‘t bother us since we didn’t expect us as guests to stay in the same living area as the owner and her dogs. However, after a few hours I recogized that my throat started itching. I talked to the owner about this, raising the concern that the dogs may be the reason (Cat-hair allergy is known). Our impression was that they took my concern rather personal and, after an uncomfortable conversation with no understanding for my situation, we ended up leaving later the same very first evening - the atmosphere had gone frosty and my symptons did not get any better. We would have wished for more professionalism and willingness to find a solution in the light of guests who are paying a considerable amount of money, particularly as it referred to topics which are not outlined on the Expedia Booking platform.
A lovely B & B in a quiet Cotswold village with access to walking paths & quick drive to nearby towns. The owners were so lovely & welcomed us with their 2 dogs & an American flag. The bedroom was comfortable & bathroom had lovely products with a warming towel rack. The food was delicious in the comfort of their dining area/ living space. We felt like family
A beautiful house in an idyllic location with very generous hosts who cater beautifully for guests. A very memorable stay and I am now determined to grow artichokes as Chris has taught me. Highly recommended.
It was situated very close to other Villages/Towns. The proprietors were very welcoming and professional. The allocated room was very well decorated and comfortable culminating in a very well stocked Tea/Coffee tray. Would definitely strongly recommend to friends and family. I intend to stay there again on my next visit to the Area.
