For a hotel at the beach that i assume is used frequently, it was clean and welcoming. We stayed in a basic double bed room and it was as expected. Breakfast was a nice amenity that most places no longer offer.

The room and bathroom is spacious and is very clean, i also enjoy the water view especially when I wake up. I visited in the off-season, but being in a hotel on the water was fantastic. I caught two beautiful sunsets the weekend I was there, and from the back parking lot of the hotel, you can walk to the embankment of yard where it meets the Bogue Sound. My hotel room was great; breakfast was good. My only minor issue is that the pillows were not as solid as some others I've slept on at Hilton/Hampton hotels, but that's an easy fix: bring your own pillows. I shouldn't have assumed they'd be the same as other hotels. All else was wonderful!

Hampton Hotels gave me very good impression in the past, but this one made me very disappointed. To my surprise, the bathroom only includes one sink and doesn’t have any counter to put cups, soak and other items. I had to flush two times to clean the toilet. I woke up at midnight by click-click noise like a theft trying to open the door and later on I figured it came from the refrigerator starting. I had to turn it off the next night. The breakfast includes a few options but some foods are salty. Nobody came to room to take away the garbage. Not everything was negative, The staff in this hotel were nice and the location is close to the seaside.
