We stayed here on fast terms, the first room they gave us had a really strong smoke smell so I requested another room. The second room was perfect especially since we try to get motels for diving trips so we can dry our scuba gear out on the banister and just watch it from inside the room. But decent room not many complaints!

Staff was great, room was decent for the price. Rooms could use some basic upgrades (fix bar that hold clothes, new mattress, deep clean carpet or replaced with something else, and it smelled of marijuana most days. Will be staying there in a couple of weeks again and will discuss with management. Overall a good place to stay if you don’t plan on being in your room most of the day and just need a place to shower and crash.

the front desk staff was pretty helpful, they let us know that the pool closes at 12 so we took a little night swim which was great. they had fresh towels by the pool as well, which was great. the beds were fine, pillows were a bit flat but still comfortable. the bathroom is probably my least favorite part. it wasn't dirty, we had fresh linens, but the toilet barely flushes, and the sink didn't fully drain on its own, we had to manually drain it. overall, our stay was fine, the hotel did what we needed it to do. the price was a bit high in my opinion for the quality of the room, but the staff were helpful and the pool had late hours which were big pluses for us. I would probably choose this hotel again just for how easy everything was, and it's in a very convenient area. if the bathrooms were updated, this would be a 5 star review!!

The property at Garnett looked very nice and the pool was nice and clean. The room, however, was not. The beds were clean and comfortable but the bathroom needed cleaning. The floor was dirty, the tub was dirty and drained very slowly, I would say they need a bathroom remodel. The towels and wash cloths felt damp before you even used them. Most hotels have at least 4 of each. We had 2 and there were 3 in our party. The staff was okay. They were not overly friendly and sometimes grudgingly helpful. One lady even locked the pastry cabinet and turned off the juice machine while my granddaughter was still getting her food, very RUDE indeed! I will not be staying there again.

The staff are friendly and very helpful however my husband and I will not be coming back to this hotel. When we first went into our room we noticed a good amount of red/brown food on the duvet and the flat sheet. On our way out to eat my husband went into the office to speak with the assistant manager (I think that’s what she is, only two people work there) about this. She hopped right to it and told their cleaning staff. We came back to our room a few hours later and the bed was nicely made. At bedtime we went to get into the covers and they were NOT clean sheets! The cleaning staff put THE SAME nasty sheets back on the bed! My husband and I brought the bedding that was disgusting to the office to show the same lady as earlier. She came with clean sheets that my husband and I made the bed with and apologized. I too had to apologize because I was a tad bit ticked off whilst speaking to her about the situation. She very nicely refunded us for or stay which was so nice of her. So the staff is very nice but their cleaning staff SUCKS. It wasn’t just the bedding that was nasty in that room. They should get rid of those cleaning people and hire new ones.
