This is a beautiful spot and one of the most welcoming spaces we have stayed. The location is convenient to hiking, fishing, and easily drivable to Seward and/or Homer for a day. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic and the onsite restaurant, deli/pizza/ice cream space was convenient. We can not wait to return next year!

We had an amazing at this lodge. The property is on a beautiful lake and the nature around the entire property is mind blowing. The owners of the property are great and the food served there was also wonderful. We highly recommend this property to anything going towards Seward.

The property and lake are beautiful . The lake front room was really nice , comfortable and the view of the lake was amazing . Breakfast in the morning was really tasty and the owners are really nice and down to earth . And the ice cream is soooo good too ....

Such an amazing place. The staff, food, and proximity to wildlife/wilderness are all outstanding. Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. Recommend renting the lakefront cabins, as waking up to a cup of coffee in bed with incredible views helps start any day with a smile. A special thanks to Brandon and Lindsey for making it a very memorable trip for my entire family.

Fantastic Place to Stay in Alaska

We really enjoyed our 3-night stay with Summit Lake Lodge. The owners/family, Marty, June, Brandon & Lyndsey made us fill so much like we were at home away from home. Great breakfast, atmosphere and above all terrific customer service from all employees/staff. We highly recommend this Lodge to anyone traveling in Alaska!

Summit Lake Lodge is a beautiful place to stay! Surrounded by beautiful grounds and a pristine Lake. It is so clear you can see through to the bottom and it offers free kayaking! The rooms are very updated but with a rustic feel. The staff is wonderful! It is a family-owned in operated place and it feels very welcoming. The free breakfast in the morning is awesome! I’m incredibly glad I cancelled my Anchorage stay and chose Summit Lodge instead. The peaceful lakeside location is absolutely stunning and made for a perfect getaway. Breakfast each morning was exceptional—delicious, fresh, and thoughtfully prepared. Brandon and Lindsey went above and beyond with their warm and welcoming hospitality. Their personal touches truly made the experience feel like home. The lodge is cozy, scenic, and perfectly located for a relaxing stay. I’d happily return and highly recommend Summit Lodge to anyone visiting the area.

What a beautiful place. The cabins were awesome. A very nice and updated hotel room (great bathrooms and very comfortable beds) in an Alaska feel cabin and cool resort atmosphere. We loved kayaking the lake, played a little cornhole and horse shoes and had an overall marvelous stay. Very close to great fishing spots. The restaurant was great and by far the best hotel included breakfast I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

Our cabin was so cute and well appointed. The king bed was a dream! Loved the bathroom shower and separate sink areas. The gas fireplace was great to take away the evening chill. Numerous breakfast options were included in stay. Evening dining can be purchased in lodge restaurant, or pizza, ice cream and a few gifts are available in parlor. You can choose to canoe, kayak, paddleboard on the lake. This facility is centrally located for day visits to Seward and Girdwood. We loved our 3 night stay!

Alaska’s Best! Amazing location!

Absolutely incredible experience! This family owned lodge hits every right note. From the very nice, well appointed cabins, to the friendly staff, Summit Lodge was awesome. Best of all is the amazing central location to all of the sites of the Kanai Peninsula. Beautifully situated on a stunning lake with gorgeous mountains in the background. We didn’t want to leave our cabin as it was just too nice to leave. To top it off, our stay included a wonderful made to order breakfast each morning. We’ve stayed in a lot of great places all over the world and Summit Lake Lodge ranks at the top. We can’t wait to return!
