Check-in & check-out were fast & easy. The front desk was very pleasant & helpful. The lobby is beautiful & has a historic ambience. Our room was quiet, well appointed & had great thermal shades to keep out the hot sun whenever we were out of our room. And the price was reasonable. We are big fans of the old Victorian style so we really enjoyed the hotel! The front desk people were great as well! Next time we'll try the restaurant for dinner but we did have breakfast the next morning at the hotel, very impressive! Overall we were very happy with our stay! This hotel wow'd me. It looks so nondescript from the outside, but inside is gorgeous. The staff were extremely friendly, food was incredible, and room looked great! The mattresses are very firm, and showerhead was low, but those were pretty minor issues. We had an amazing weekend!
