This lovely boutique hotel is a perfect place to stay for a short or more extended stay in Montreal. The location is superb, in Old Montreal, & it’s also close to public transportation & the excellent Air Canada bus stop from YUL. There is also a very cool bar in the basement. It’s my new go to hotel in Montreal!

The location is situated close to all of old Montreal sites. The overall experience of staying at the Sonolux was interesting and unlike any other hotel we have stayed. From check in (minimalist), to the immersive art in the hallways and room, to our checkout the vibe was was unique and appreciated.

Amazing place to stay loved every moment. I wish we stayed longer and that the room service was every day! Heated toilet and bidet were amazing - staff were also terrific. Really clean and cozy. There is parking across the street that you will have to pay for. Thank you sonolux!

We loved our stay at Sonolux, it was very clean, the room was a great size and the bed was extremely comfy. Great location, easy to walk everywhere. Definitely will be coming back and highly recommend!!

Great Location ! It was within walking distance to all sights , Notre Dame Basilica , Jacques Cartier/Porte vioux area shopping and restaurants … Hotel staff were l friendly and very informative..extra bonus , the hotel has a speak easy with entertainment most nights Only downside was No on site parking but a Public Parking lot is just across the street , approximately $25-30/ night….
