It was a somewhat run down. Once I checked in I went with my sister and granddaughter to the room it was musty, The refrigerator was scratched dirty and honestly appeared to have been picked up as a roadside find. The bath was dirty with urine around the toilet and hair on the floor.

I won't recommend this Motel, We are booked for 4 people and they provided only 1 towel. Cat hairs on bed. Expedia please don't consider this Motel as Family Friendly.

Needs TLC.

We had read prior reviews of the motel before booking it, so we had an idea what to expect. The motel in general, including the room, is rundown, and is in need of a lot of TLC. Quite outdated.It does allow dogs, which is why we chose it. In the Hotels.com website that we booked through, it stated the room had a kitchenette,but we were told, no, the room does not. The neighborhood surrounding the motel is very nice, with lovely, well-kept homes and gardens, so we enjoyed walking the dog around there.

The window was broken. The bathroom had no door and in place a filthy fabric curtain. There was filth and mould under the bathroom sink. The shampoo had already been used. And the facility was generally very poorly maintained. I would never recommend this, in fact, believe I should receive a refund

The check in office smelled of cat urine, several stray cats wandering around, two large loose dogs. Leaking faucet which left the only towel soaking wet, cobwebs and bugs throughout. I was in the room less than an hour before I had bugs crawling on me so I decided I could not sleep there and was denied any refund and was only spoken to through a door.

The bed was not cleaned(hair and dirty spot were still there) and the light of toilet was gone. I explained the above and thus asked the owner to refund. But he gave me its half only. It was nightmare. I do not recommend this motel at all. Never, ever.

The room was not cleaned for a very long time and it is full of cobwebs, spiders, flies, and more. The floor and tables were covered in dust and the water smelled bad. There were no amenities; no towels, barely any soap, nothing. The bed is creaky and on rolling wheels which causes it to move. The windowsills are full of dead flies and further cobwebs. Everyone that was in the motel all seemed to be crazy. The only good thing is that the owner tried his best and was respectful. Outside View was nice and quiet.

You get what you pay for, sometimes less. Some rooms were in worse shape than others but all needed repairs and cleaning. With a lot of work and better services this could deliver as advertised. As is, it is not worth it at any price. First room had missing screen in outer door, sticking inner door, missing tiles in floor and ceiling, lots of bugs and cobwebs inside, missing lighbulbs. Towels were delivered eventually after multiple requests. Did come with left behind dirty clothes from a previous occupant as a bonus. The person working there was nice, and there were lots of cats around. Good view of the river from nearby, but not pleasant, nor sanitary, nor safe in the rooms and on the property.

I had a confirmed booking. However, when I reached the motel, the lady at the reception who was drunk and completely belligerent refused to entertain me and said it didn't matter if I had the reservation, as she didn't have any room for me. It was 9 in the night, and my family was in the car. I feared for my safety as there were drunk people having a party with a bonfire with some loud music. This motel is a shambles. I had no option but to look for another place to stay in the middle of the night. And I drove from US to Canada to experience this drunk, unprofessional lady who used expletives to ask me to leave the property when I showed her the expedia confirmation. This property shouldn't be listed by expedia or any other platform. And to add insult to injury, expedia charged me for the trip, which I need to contest. Also, I paid double the price to book a 3 star hotel an hour drive away from Montreal, as nothing was available at Montreal at that hour as it was busy due to festival apparently.
