The Hotel is in a perfect location to visit the Old Town of Montreal. We liked the room which was spacious, quiet and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The two restaurants plus the rooftop terrace are a great addition.

This was the perfect location to see Notre Dame Basilica, and other places near Vieux Montreal, also the port area for the La Grande Roue (Ferris wheel). Very convenient and the jappnaise restaurant at the hotel was good. Enjoyed our stay. Also, the staff was very helpful.

Had a great stay at Place d’armes for 3 nights - would give a 4.5, safe for just a few little snags (had requested a non-alcoholic bottle of wine for a pregnant guest that wasn’t supplied, took a few trips from staff to get all of our luggage that had been stored for us, etc). But wonderful location very near to beautiful Old Montreal, and friendly staff.

Hôtel was phenomenal. From the valet to the concierge, everyone was wonderful. The room was beautiful, very clean, and so relaxing. The in-room breakfast we ordered was great as well, and at most hotels, it isn’t. Will absolutely stay here again!

The hotel is conveniently located across from the Notre Dame Basilica and many excellent restaurants, all within walking distance. Located in old Montreal and within a 8 minute walk to the jazz festival venues. The staff is very friendly and speak English and French. If we travel to Montreal again this will be our hotel.
