We'll definitely be staying here again. The Boxotel location is perfect for walking or taking transit to all the different places you'll want to explore. The room was clean, comfortable, and an incredible value for what you pay. Amazing hotel. Stayed for a night. The bed was very comfortable for a Murphy, the bathroom was outstanding, the kitchenette was well equipped, and to our surprise there was a washer and dryer in the unit. Continental breakfast in the morning with an automatic espresso machine. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only strange part is they don’t have key cards. Instead there’s a key code you need to get in the front door and your room (and this was not sent to us in advance through Expedia).

Boxotel isn't particularly fancy, but it has everything you need for a great stay in Montreal. It is located within easy walking distance to downtown, old Montreal, the mountain and the plateau. The rooms aren't big but they are modern, comfy and well equipped. The rooftop terrace is bright and private; and the breakfast bar gives you everything you need to get on your way in the morning. We have stayed here twice and will definitely be back!

Everything was really wonderful at Boxotel. The room was so thoughtfully designed to include a full kitchen with dishwasher, a fold out table & chairs, and a washer & dryer. We enjoyed a continental breakfast each morning after the gym. Check in and out were so easy, and the location is perfect. We'll be back to visit Montreal again!

The hotel was overall good. The pool and many other amenities were not available which was very disappointing as that’s a large reason for booking this hotel. The floors in the room were concrete and seemed dirty (my feet were black after walking around for 5 minutes). The staff was nice and the lobby was clean. Happy to have a kitchen in the room. I didn’t realized the bathroom was see through (even the toliet) otherwise I would’ve picked a different place since I was staying with a friend.
