Staff, service and food was spectacular. The terrace on the 5th floor was temporarily closed but we were only there for 2 days. Very close to restaurants and shopping. We would stay there again.

The location is the primary reason to choose this hotel. It is on the river in an old building that has charm in the heart of old Montreal. It has old world appeal. The rooms are a good size, and kept very clean with beautiful Frette sheets.

The hotel was lovely, the decorating felt like we might have been in Paris, France. The view faced the St Lawrence River, the La Grande Roue and we were able to see the fireworks. The down side is the elevator which was very slow at times. Also being on the 5th floor under the outdoor terrace and close to the elevator was at times a little noisy. Overall it was a great stay within walking distance T
