Auberge de la Fontaine is in a great location to explore the city, close to the lovely park, restaurants, shops, transit. Our stay there was pleasant. Our room had a fridge which was great. But it didn't have a coffee maker or kettle for tea, which I didn't expect. There is free coffee in the morning and water at reception.

This August stay was only for 1 night, however this is our 3rd stay here. We stayed in the Executive Suite, Park View and will request this room for future stays. A large soaking tub, robes, private full balcony, lovely king size bed and a mini fridge. The room temperature was perfect for us as well. Note, this is up one flight of stairs. There was plenty of room for us. Wish this trip allowed us to stay longer. We did not take part in the breakfast that is offered, but in the past, it’s been good. The desk staff was very pleasant at both check in and check out. Thanks again for a lovely stay. We’ll be back.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and filling. The location across from the park was lovely! Fans in the rooms would help since the AC is centrally controlled. Also, screens on the windows would be great. We tried opening our windows and promptly had a wasp come in the room. We were able to shoo it out without being stung.

Everything was great here. The only thing to take note of is that you don’t have control of your own air-conditioning, which is not noted in the description. But honestly, we were there in early June and we were completely comfortable. We also liked how this was so walkable to the park and other neighborhood amenities like restaurants and bars. The parking can be a little precarious, but we did not have any issues. I will say the bathroom was a bit small but completely workable for two people.

We really enjoyed our stay and would choose without question to visit again. I am picky, particularly about cleanliness, but we found the room immaculate -- and very spacious and comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the staff were quite pleasant. The rooftop deck was a nice option, though we didn't ever use it. The neighborhood was lively and relaxed, and we were charmed by the beautiful park right across the street, as well as delicious pastries, poutine, and coffee treats within blocks. We felt happy and easily at home the whole time we were staying here.
