I'm giving this a 1 but it deserves better. I want people to read this review because others are over rating it. It is very important to know what you are getting. This place is very basic. The bathroom is next to the bed in a small closet. The lock for the door is a small padlock. There was a fecal smell that kept us up at night. The bed was a soft mat type bed not a mattress. Check in is not before 5 but we got there at 4 and found the lady to give us keys. I could hear other people easily in many rooms. Not a place for a romantic couple. A night for a guy traveling through it might be perfect but at 9.4 it is way over rated. I'd say a 6. It is like a hostel with individual rooms not a hotel. The building is old and very authentic.

Endroit joli, petit dejeuner copieux mais imposé (pas de libre choix), pas de tv dans la chambre, chambre spacieuse et fraiche appreciable avec une temperature exterieure élevée. La connexion wifi est de qualité. La litterie est bonne. Du savon et un seche cheveux mais pas de gel douche à disposition.

Nous avons été un peu déçu de notre séjour car nous nous attendions à une chambre avec un peu plus de charme au vu des notes données. La chambre est plutôt austère et une odeur d humidité est restée omniprésente durant notre court séjour. Petit déjeuner sommaire malgré la présence de produits faits maison.

Stayed just for 1 night which was too little time! My wife said it’s very charming and “homey” (I agree), and the host was very nice and friendly. Breakfast included home made bread, crepes fresh jam and cheese. Just remember that it’s a very old building with no elevator filled with quirks and the washroom is a little small but it adds to the place’s wonder. Definitely would stay again!

Nuit atypique, bonne expérience

Une nuit atypique au calme dans une tour de manoir après une visite du village de Pérouge. Literie confortable king size, petit déjeuner très bien et hote très acccueillante.

Super accueil, la proprietaire est à votre ecoute. Mais je n'ai pas du tout apprécié la chambre. La piece es assez oppressante et surtout l'odeur de poussiere et de vieille eglise ne m'a pas plu du tout. Le petit dejeuner etait sympa avec des produits fait maison.

Hébergement atypique au confort sommaire

Hébergement atypique dans un bâtiment extrêmement ancien chargé d’histoire. Les chambres se trouvent dans la Tour datant de plusieurs siècles…sol en tomettes, portes authentiques… le confort est plutôt sommaire. Il faisait frais dans la chambre à mon arrivée, et j’ai mis quelques dizaines de minutes à me rechauffer. La chambre est ronde, le lit également, avec un pied central défectueux… qui rendait le lit instable si l’on bougeait… la couette ultra agréable. Salle de bain rudimentaire. Je pense que cette chambre est plus agréable en été qu’en hiver. Petit dej fait maison; la maitresse des lieux semble être attentive à la nutrition sans gluten, etc… les mets m’ont semblé insipides. Je ne pense pas revenir, le confort étant trop sommaire.

Verträumt und komfortabel in Rapunzels Turm

Sehr besondere Unterkunft wie in Rapunzels Turm ( steile Treppen), historisch, charmant und komfortabel. Äußerst aufmerksame Gastgeberin und ein leckeres Frühstück mit selbst gebackenem Brot.
