I gave everything a five-star review, however this is an unstaffed property so the service I mentioned was related to housekeeping and whomever put out the breakfast. I never saw anyone, however, all communication I had with them via email was excellent. I also noted that I enjoyed the area. However, the restaurant at the hotel and all the restaurants in this immediate area are shut down from Easter until May 15th.

Cozy place. Not far from Jay Peak. We had a light continental breakfast provided by the Inn in the morning and then went skiing at Jay. Had a good experience and would stay there again

This is an amazing New England bed and breakfast. The food is top quality and the property is a perfect blend of the past and present. We had a very peaceful and great time.

We stayed 2 nights /3 days. The Inn was decorated very nice for the time period of the Inn. Breakfast was a small breakfast bar and plenty of coffee. We enjoyed our stay. Would stay here agsin.

My wife and I needed a weekend getaway exactly like this!! The food at the Black Lantern is truly exquisite! The staff is amazing. We will definitely return for a longer stay!!

What a great little country inn. Friendly owner and staff. My room was comfortable and had a nice old fashioned charm to it. They also serve fantastic food, a real find.
