Worth every peso

Hotel Klee is one of my favorite hotels in the world. It does not have modern chrome and steel, but it is comfy and cozy. There is room in the rooms to move around. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful, and the price is fair. Some may want to pay twice as much for a more modern hotel where you are treated like a stranger. That is their choice.

A gem of a botalón central Montevideo

Such a comfortable and friendly hotel. The fact that the furnishings are a little dated is no bother in the least; nothing is threadbare. The WiFi works perfectly. The breakfast, with home baked pastries and anything else you want is delicious.

Hotel Klee in el centro

The staff goes out of their way to be helpful. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is nice, the WiFi always works, and it is in a nice area of downtown Montevideo, one block from Town Hall. The price is fair. You can pay twice as much and get more modern rooms, if that is what you want. But if you are looking for clean and comfortable rooms, Hotel Klee has them.

Good value for what we paid so no complaints.

Hotel well placed for getting around Montevideo, easy walking to downtown, great restaurants and markets. Staff were helpful and friendly and happy to organise very early taxi to the airport. While decor is a little jaded the rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Free breakfast was adequate.
