Beautiful hotel! New, clean, modern. It's really 5 minutes to the city center. I think it's not quite suitable for people with mobility problems, since it's on a hill, but there are rooms at the front desk level. Delicious breakfasts.

We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. The lobby and breakfast area are spacious and cozy, with games you can play in the evening. The breakfast was very, very tasty and high-quality; the yogurt with granola was especially great. The staff are very friendly, and we particularly appreciate the philosophy behind the hotel, as it supports education and helps children and students. The rooms aren’t very large and there’s not much storage space for suitcases, but they’re perfectly adequate for a stay. On the other hand, everything was very clean and the rooms smelled really fresh. Overall, we can definitely recommend staying here.

Nice bright rooms with great views. Room was small but very well designed, so we felt comfortable. The staff was great. They have a few breakfast options to choose from. Food was made and served with care. That homemade jam was to die for. No microwave or refrigerator or hairdryer- but I am pretty sure staff would have helped if we needed any of that. The staff is great, breakfast is delicious, and the location is walking distance to the "downtown" area. I appreciated the staff putting together a to-go breakfast for us because we had an activity that would cause us to miss breakfast. The laundry service was quick and affordable ($6/kg). The only downside is hearing the motorbikes and wind at night.

We stayed here for three nights on our first stop in this beautiful country. The hotels location is up on a hill giving you a stunning view from your room and the breakfast/common area. You are just a very short walk away from a central town arwa filled with shops and delicious restaurants. The rooms are quaint, clean and comfortable, everything you need for relaxing after your adventures. The staff are phenomenal; friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful with helping book anything from a tour to a taxi. The breakfast provided was the perfect way to start the day, not only are they hearty and healthy to keep you fueled but so so delicious. This hotel also helps the youth in Monteverde and education as well as being environmentally friednly. If we ever get the honour of being able to visit Costa Rica again we will fornsure booking here again. Thank you to all of the staff for everything you do.

Receptionist was excellent, she explained the everything very well and make us feel welcomed. The room was clean but the gases from the bathroom filled the air, so the smell was strong, after opening the door and windows and turning on the exhaust it went away totally.
