Well the room was somewhat clean and the beds were good and chairs were comfortable and clean. Just the floor needed to be clean and mop maybe some sanitize. The bathroom was OK just at the sink was broken and that property it’s OK place to say for the price just better and lighting and and maybe one more trashcan in the room.

This place is horrible. The walls are paper thin. The place is dirty. Bathrooms were gross. The tub had stains and doesn’t drain well. I asked the front desk “can I bother you for another set of towels?” because there was only one set, and the night front desk was a jerk. “Yeah you’re bothering me” and walked to the back. The bed is lumpy and the pillows are a sack of potatoes. Location is great to explore Monterey, Big Sur and Carmel. But man it was coming back to the hotel for some rest. My wife and I had the hardest sleeping and feeling clean. I wouldn’t stay here unless you absolutely have to.

The location is excellent, but the rooms are in desperate need of updating and a good deep cleaning. I could hear everyone walking outside and every time anyone used the stairs, and the person smoking outside might as well have been smoking inside my room for how bad it smelled immediately. The staff is friendly and helpful, and it was fine to stay just for a night or two, but I probably won't book there again.
