We stayed at this motel for one night and found it to be okay for a short visit, especially if you are planning to explore Monterey or Carmel-by-the-Sea. The room was fairly basic and had a chair with a visible stain, which could be improved. I also preferred to use my own blanket for comfort. It was a bit noisy at times, but overall it was acceptable for a quick overnight stay given the convenient location.

Really great place really enjoyed my stay very clean. Bathrooms were pristine and newly remodeled very pleased especially for the price! Would completely recommend to anybody else. Staff is nice and recommended a great restaurant and was very helpful in checking me in very late also. Great location close to the harbor. Everything was wonderful.

Old, outdated ac unit, refrigerator and microwave. No cleaning service unless asked for it the night before. Two dining chairs completed the seating arrangement which was uncomfortable. Metal bed frame which was noisy. Heard strange noises at night. Room not adequately secured with a double lock. I won't be staying there again.
