Everything is old, the rooms are not clean, there are strangers’ hair on the bed. This hotel needs renovation. The only good thing is that the staff at this hotel are very friendly.

I like that it was clean, nice staff for the reception, I loved that it had free parking and air conditioning. The only thing I was disappointed about was the rooms were so small and the water in shower was not working properly. Over all for the price it wasn’t bad. I feel that breakfast could’ve been better. 3 1/2 stars for this hotel

Room was not clean ; only bed i will say. There was little hairs all over shower wall, dust in ac and in corners of restrooms. Bed/bedding was clean. Towels had lots of stains. TV service wasnt the best. Had lines all over the screen. You can hear everything. Staff was very helpful during check in/out although we didnt need them as much. Beach is near by thats the plus-side. Would be back if room was clean(er).

Not very clean, miniature room, no deadbolt on door, broken room phone. We had a third floor room up two flights of filthy exterior stairs, no housekeeping unless requested, had to ask for fresh towels, toilet paper etc. Being near the beach doesn't mean you can excuse poor facilities.

I stayed here for 2 nights and, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The shower was broken and rusty, there was no TV remote, and the walls had almost no sound insulation—you could clearly hear people outside and in the neighboring rooms, making it very noisy throughout the stay. The biggest concern was the cleanliness. The bed sheets appeared unchanged from the previous guests, with visible stains and an unpleasant smell, which made the room feel unhygienic. Breakfast was average—not terrible, but nothing special. The only positives were that this is one of the cheaper hotels in the area and it includes free parking and free breakfast. That said, I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families or anyone planning a longer stay. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. The location of this hotel is great as it is right by the beach. This was the ONLY good thing about it. When my family and I arrived, our room was not clean, in fact it looked like someone had stayed in there before us with no clean up as the bedding was stained and dirty. The microwave smelled of rotten food. The sink to the room was disgusting and the plumbing was on full display. The restroom was so gross, we did not shower in it. Thankfully I had some Clorox wipes to clean the toilet seat. The curtain rod to the shower was rusted and the door to the restroom got stuck every time we closed it. The front door was not sealed properly as we needed to close the door often to lock it. Everything about this property is terrible. My family and I will definitely NOT be coming here again. I deserve a full refund!! Go figure, this is not letting me upload my photos!

Staff was kind, and friendly. Beach side motel with a decent breakfast, place to sleep, and ice. Mattress only had a flat sheet & a pillow topper under the comforter. No protector or anything else (mattress was also stained). TV in room was cracked and non functional upon arrival. Breakfast was ok, however the only drink options were water or milk all three days as the juice dispenser was out of order. Breakfast space was messy with TV cables hanging everywhere. Hot tub was out of order, and unusable for our stay. Laundry room was closed, and looked like it had been for a long time. Staff were using it as a storage room instead. Bathroom smelled like weed & smoke, despite the room being marked as non-smoking.

Don’t be fooled about this hotel. The pictures do not represent what it looks like. Our room was super small, didn’t have light switch covers, the floor wasn’t clean and didn’t have a tv remote. The door didn’t close all the way so we had to jam it closed. The shower wasn’t even in the wall all the way and there was no toilet paper roll holder. The sheets on the other bed were dirty (no bed bugs I checked). It definitely doesn’t deserve the 2 star rating. More of a 1 star. The only bonus was the walking distance to the beach, the bed was comfortable and AC worked great. Other than that, pay the extra and go to a different hotel. This is a Radisson hotel, but definitely doesn’t live up to the name. Extremely disappointed

The room smelled like cigarettes and air freshener. It gave me a lasting headache. Not only that, but the sheets were stained with yellow marks, there was a black spot on the headboard they tried to cover with a pillow, hair in the sheets, the floor was nasty and sticky. Then!! I go to the bathroom and try using the toilet. It had a ring of period blood and grime around it. The shower was discolored and hadn’t been cleaned. It also just felt really sketchy. The front door to the office was really hard to open, and the GM didn’t even bother to get up to help me with my bags or the door. But, he had no problem helping me check out. He immediately printed the confirmation and I was on my way. If you love and respect yourself, you won’t stay at this shack of a hotel.

Great Location and Secure Parking, but Disappointing Stay I wanted to love this hotel because the location is fantastic and the parking felt very safe and secure. Unfortunately, the room conditions, noise, and absolute lack of cleanliness made it nowhere near worth the price we paid. When I checked in, the door to my room wouldn't close or lock properly; I had to rely entirely on the metal pull latch just to feel somewhat secure. The noise levels were also terrible—the walls and ceilings are paper-thin, so I could constantly hear other guests talking and footsteps loudly pounding from above. The overall cleanliness was just as bad: both the floors and the ceiling in my room were filthy, and the pool outside was completely neglected and filled with green algae. To make matters worse, the shampoo dispensers were empty, the showerhead was awful, and breakfast featured incredibly runny eggs. For the amount of money they charge, you expect basic safety, peace, and cleanliness. I wouldn't stay here again.

Please note that pictures are not updated. We had to ask for towels from office (they are not inside the room as expected) Only two paintings were hanging in our room (looks like it was recently updated and forgot or didnt have time to hang them, however hardware was sticking out of the wall) Hot water was good but shower head could have been much better. For a tall guy who is over 6' I had to bend down to get water on my head and weak water flow from shower head took longer) Didnt like that we had TV outlet splitter was hanging from the wall under TV and it wasnt really clean (looked abused from previous years) Few stairs to get to our room we used were wobbly. Breakfast was decent but we had better at similar hotels. not enough seats for guests as its a huge hotel/inn.

What a strange hotel. I had to book a last minute trip for Memorial Day weekend Thu-Sun. So this was pretty much the last place with rooms. And for somewhere I was only sleeping in, I guess it was ok? The room was fairly clean, I think the cleaners are doing an ok job with what they have to work with. The room and building are very shabby and run down. The seams and around the taps in the bathroom were caked with mould and rust and poorly put together. The towels and pillow cases were old and stained, I’m guessing they don’t use bleach. The bed wasn’t comfortable in my opinion. There was no housekeeping during my stay. I was ok with that as there seemed to be no limit on people just wandering around the very open building. There was an old office chair outside my room where a man who looked like he might have been a member of staff was often sat smoking. The smoke came under the gap in my door. Walls, doors and the floor were all paper thin. I could hear everything happening throughout the night. Check in and out was quick and efficient. I didn’t try the included breakfast. The location is ok. An easy 10min drive to downtown Monterey and the shopping plaza at Marina. The nearby beach and dunes are nice enough. As a single female traveler I didn’t feel particularly secure staying there. It was not good value for money.

Nice location. seems the hotel might have been updated not too long ago. However it appears to be on a very tight budget and bit of a decline. Staff was hard to find. Beds were nice. Windows needed cleaning inside and out. The inside windows were so bad I had to clean them myself just to see out. Breakfast was on a tighter budget, we skipped it on the 2nd and 3rd mornings There are four charging spaces for electric vehicles, two were out of order and a third was taken up by a gray gas powered jeep. that didn't move during our 3 day stay.

Well! The beach was just down the road! That was a plus. The room was very small. There was not towels, wash clothes, shower mat. Extra toilet paper. We request second day we was there our door sounded like we trying to tear it off the hinges. It was very loud whenever we closed the door. We loved the black out shades they were very effective.
