Good area, quiet and located close to everything. Best price around but can use some updates. Water pressure was not great, blinds let the sun in and they ac was pretty useless but for the price it was great definitely would stay again. Won't find a better bang for your buck motel in Monterey than this.

The stay was wonderful. I was only there for a short overnight stay Was in the perfect location , really close to the highway to get to granddaughters dorm. Room was clean and beds was comfortable. I will be staying there next time I go visit my granddaughter.

Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and well lit room and outside/parking/surrounding areas. Safe and quiet. Dog area with tables/chair artificial grass and fence. Keurig, fridge and microwave provided. Walking trail and supermarket as well as a very nice shopping center conveniently located across the street. Easy and short drive to downtown and tourist area. It was an excellent value and seems to be family owned, who really enjoy taking care of the property. Nice flowers and plants as well! Great value for Monterey visitors!

AC was cold for the abnormally hot day. Bed was a little firm but blankets were warm and clean. Water was hot. Microwave and fridge were good. Only issue is the intersections out front can have some rude drivers resulting in possible honking or loud engines. Not an issue once mall closes. Proximity to the grocery store is great.

The owner is very kind and the rooms have their own A/C, coffee, TV, fridge, and microwave (or at least ours did). It is however right on the main road and you can hear the cars. There's a lot of lights on all night and it just takes another guest's car alarm or honking to wake everyone up. We survived and slept reasonably well. No breakfast but there's a mall across the street.
