There was not cleaning room day after checking. The room was not the one I booked at Expedia, they transfer us to the Oak Inn, which is just in front and totally different. I asked for a room as in my booking but was impossible because they were not transparent to explain a reason. They treat clients like stupid and ignorant about standard service in a hotel ... I am very concern with the trip, that in not my experience in previous hotel, motel, Inn in Carmel or Monterey in general. The issues are not related to COVID-19 situation, is about professionalism, care about the business and care about Clients satisfaction and confort.
