Great friendly, clean and comfy stay

The cottage was very comfy and very clean. Debs was lovely and made such a fuss of our puppy. The pub was welcoming and again everyone made our puppy feel welcome which we were worried about.

Only a one night stay after a wedding. Clean and comfortable with fresh milk and orange juice. Skylights need a blind over them to keep early light out in Summer

A great location to access heritage sites at Chepstow, Monmouth and Tintern. I was made very welcome by all at The Lion. I recommend the food options which they will even deliver to the cottage on request. Many thanks.

Wonderful location , with great staff, pub food and beer. Surpisingly quiet, given you are in the pub car park!

Property was reasonably spacious and well equipped for our needs. The pub had building work going on so the parking area was a bit untidy. The pub food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Would happily stay again if in the area.

Great little Hideaway

Such a vcery freindly place to stay ,Staff and locals alike .the room is big enough for 2 and our dog with plenty of facilities.The pub ajacent has a great selection of beers and the food is excellent

The Lion Inn

Location is convenient to many walks property has everything you need. The owners are very helpful and friendly. Lovely welcome pack of milk, orange juice and tea coffee and sugar along with toiletries. Bed very comfortable and settee table and chairs everything you would need tastefully decorated too with plenty of information about Trellech and the surrounding area. Would definitely visit again. Food at the Lion was fantastic and nothing is too much trouble.
