Not used to hotels with only a narrow twin bed and though I booked a queen, it was two twin beds pushed together with two different comforters. It was quite comfortable regardless. Very clean, convenient location for shopping, walking around, and many restaurants. I would come back.

Nice hotel with some poor design aspects

Nice hotel with good location. The toilet is incredibly small and not well positioned. It therefore cannot be used as intended as the toilet is too close to the wall. One has to sit sideways to use the toilet. This is a basic design concept and it is shocking to see it done so poorly. The staff were excellent L, very friendly and helpful.

Property is good and no complaint about that. But the staff at the reception are not qualified. When I checked in , the receptionist said that there is parking on the front and side of the hotel. I got one parking spot on the front and my car was parked overnight. After I parked , I even told to reception and confirm with her. Morning I saw the parking ticket on my car When I asked at the reception, that time (different person) he said that front parking is city parking and free until 8 only. This information was not provided by the receptionist during checking. City parking fine came to 660 kronas. When the morning reception person tried to contact the lady from night , she refused to accept that she didn't provide the right information and infact started saying that you are crazy. When I tried to talk to director over phone , she didn't even let me explain and just said that we can't do anything. The morning reception person even threatened to call to police. This is highly unprofessional behavior of the staff. Highly highly disappointed and won't recommend to Anyone , not because of the property but because of staff at reception and management.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Thon Hotel Moldefjord in Molde, Norway, and I'm delighted to share my positive experience. The hotel truly impressed me with its exceptional cleanliness. From the lobby to my room, everything was spotless and well-maintained, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. What truly stood out, however, was the incredible helpfulness of the staff. Every member of the team I encountered was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Thon Hotel Moldefjord to anyone visiting Molde!

Convenient hotel for a 1 night "pit stop" on our 2 week road trip around Southern Norway. Clean and today, friendly staff. Only downside was limited parking spaces, although the reception desk was super helpful in pointing us to a free parking location a little walk away. Would have a stunning sea view with mountains in the distance if it wasn't for the massive cruise liner parked on the dock directly outside!

Albergo scelto per una notte di passaggio a Molde prima di continuare il nostro itinerario in Norvegia. L'albergo è in posizione centrale, a 1 minuto dal corso principale della città e dal porto dove attraccano le navi del postale. La camera, adatta per disabili, era molto grande . La colazione negli standard della catena per alberghi a 3 stelle. Unica pecca è il parcheggio, assolutamente non sufficiente per tutti gli ospiti e le colonnine per ricaricare l'auto che erano solo 2. Ci sono dei parcheggi vicini a pagamento dalle 8 del mattino fino alle 17. Questo significa alzarsi presto per dover mettere il grattino o sperare che si sia liberato un posto riservato all'albergo. Comunque, con una tariffa buona ( in Norvegia è abbastanza difficile ) ci ritornerei

Flott beliggenhet, men skjemmes i sesong pga crusbåter. Svært små rom og ingen hyller til klær etc. Badet særdeles lite og er man 180 cm høy er det problem å sitte vanlig på do. Dårlig fall/for liten glasskjerming i dusjsonen som medfører vått gulv i det meste av badet ved dusjing. Merkelig utforming.
