We had a lovely stay, the place was nice, it was close to some lovely walks on the beach and in nature parks. We liked our hot tub but it was just a tad too hot and it wouldn’t cool down with the controls, we even left the top open and it stayed at 40 degrees, we couldn’t stay in for very long. The shower was either boiling or freezing but we still enjoyed and can’t wait to go back some day :)

Lovely site in the Welsh hills with lakeside or woodland lodges that were clean, comfortable and have everything you need for a short self catering break. The check in process was very easy and they offered a pre-check in online too. Pre-warning: They did try to contact my mobile to warn about a £60 refundable damage deposit, but the mobile number was partially Xx'd out by Hotels.com Friendly staff who were helpful and accommodating. Lovely relaxing time in the hot tub, surrounded by woodland. And great value for money.

WARNING! DO NOT BOOK IF YOU ARE ASTHMATIC! We booked Cabin 25 (Lark) to celebrate our anniversary, but the stay was completely ruined by the appalling condition of the accommodation and the complete lack of action when I reported it. On our first evening I discovered extensive visible black mould around the shower, on the shower curtain and bathroom ceiling. I then inspected the rest of the cabin and found mould on the studio curtains and sofa bed, together with a significant build-up of dirt and debris behind the bed. The cabin doors also failed to lock properly, raising further concerns. I suffer from severe asthma. After already experiencing breathing difficulties, I did not feel it was safe to use the shower as I was genuinely concerned the mould could trigger an asthma attack. I reported these issues the following morning and was told they would be dealt with. Nothing happened. I reported them again the next day and, once again, nothing was done. My concerns were simply ignored. Instead of enjoying our anniversary, I spent the entire stay anxious about my health. I was unable to shower, we were forced to check out early, and because I couldn’t find suitable accommodation nearby at such short notice, I had to spend the second night sleeping in my car. This standard of accommodation is unacceptable. No guest should have to repeatedly report serious issues only to be ignored. Guests with asthma or other respiratory conditions could be placed at genuine risk.
