“A hidden gem close to Alton Towers. We stayed in Robins Roost, double bed, single bed, pull out bed - nestled in a beautiful farm setting with shared lounge, kitchen area. It was a wonderful stay, with exceptional attention to detail & the breakfast was beautiful. ”

“Stayed in the pod with en-suite for one night after visiting the NEC. Location was great with just a short and quick journey back from the NEC avoiding all the traffic. We arrived by 6pm so checked in at reception with the key to our pod handed over. Pod was small but functional and adequate for the night which we found to be warm and cosy. We ate at the restaurant and really enjoyed the quirky environment and food. Breakfast the following morning was included and again was lovely. Would...

“Great hotel, impressive entrance, lovely staff and all clean. Very recently refurbished so nicely decorated. Car access only location but convenient for roads. One thing to note the sound does carry through the ceiling. ”

“All good. Especially the two young ladies at reception(sorry didn’t get their names). Very pleased with everything. Only slight disappointment was the lack of views from the window. Would 100% stay again but ask for room with better view. I live in Leicester and stayed in most of the hotels. This is definitely one of the better ones. Please don’t stay at the Hilton. It’s disgusting ”

“Enjoyable stay in one of the pub's rooms at the back of the property. Nice big room with settee and two chairs, much better than having to sit on the bed. Tea and coffee, fridge and bottled water are nice extra touches provided for when you get back from a day exploring. Shower good, water hot plus soft towels ( much appreciated!) and very quiet location in a small village with a handy village store in walking distance. Great overall stay.”

“What a lovely comfortable stay. Nice beds , pillows and duvet and in a beautiful house. Tea and coffee and a bottle of water on arrival. Could have had breakfast but didn't. There's a pub down the road. Will definitely stay again and go for walks around the area”
