“The,Royal Oak is an old Hotel. So things need a little updating. However our room had everything posh hotels have. Beds very comfortable. Lovely white clean towels and bedding. Tea & coffee making facilities etc. We had pur evening meal in the their restaurant and it was very nice. The breakfast was all locally sourced and off a really good quality. The staff were very friendly and polite. We need to support our independent Hotels.”

“Lovely old building with some beautiful original features. The rooms we had were extremely spacious and the beds were very comfortable, I certainly had a great night sleep! Breakfast was superb, a great varied menu and happy to make changes to suit. One big bonus was the enclosed garden which was great for the dogs. Sue and the staff we met were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely be back!”
