Staff was very nice. Lobby was clean, breakfast was good. However, Rooms are in desperate need of renovations. Bathroom grout was missing or coming loose, ceiling patching was coming loose and looked disgusting, walls in room needed repainting, there was a foggy film look on the doors, and truthfully I cringed at the thought of walking on the carpet. On the plus side, the mattresses looked new-ish and slept comfortably.

We were on our way back to Texas from Florida and were running behind schedule and needed a place to sleep for the night, this hotel had one room left and we took it. The room was pretty basic and what you’d expect from a Comfort Inn. The beds were very comfortable but the curtains were dirty and the bathtub was full of silverfish. It was good for what we needed it for. The woman that was working the night shift at the front desk was fantastic and the breakfast was adequate. I love Daphne and Spanish Fort but thought it was ridiculous that everything other than Waffle House and Burger King was closed at 11pm. If you’re traveling through the area and need a place to stay late, make sure you eat somewhere else!
