Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Clean, great service, and convenient location, walking distance to Painagama Beach, Family Mart, and many restaurants and shops. Easy drive from there to other parts of the island.
Location is convenient! It’s 15 mins away from the airport! Next to Painagama beach, near Sinayama Beach and the Hirara Port. There are several restaurants near the hotel too! Very convenient to many things.
The only reason I booked this hotel was because of the pool. I was super disappointed to show up and find that the pool was drained. Would have been nice to get a notice or some sort of communication about this.
Other than that, the staff was nice, rooms were clean and much more spacious than usual rooms in Japan.
The hotel is clean & cosy, staff are attentive and courteous and the location is quite convenient. Various dining options available and within walking distances. The sea view is amazing and treated to very beautiful sunsets every day. The only thing that I didn't really like are the pillows. For some reason, they are designed to be lumpy on one side and soft & smooth on the other side.
Anyway, I will definitely stay there should I visit Miyako again.
It is in an excellent location, close to Painagama Beach, and also near great dining options like Shikenbaru and Kujira, where you can enjoy pork and egg for breakfast. Additionally, the rooms are of a luxurious design, far superior to a typical business hotel.

It's a very clean hotel. Parts could do with updating, however my double room was big, had a great view, and was comfy. Swimming pool was very nice - no staff there - no one to make you cover up tattoos. Bar was permanently closed. Only one restaurant open, no English menu. Staff friendly enough. Good free parking. Very convenient location. Many restaurants around. Walking to town centre quick and easy. Would stay again.
Wonderful staff, very nice and warm people. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. It’s an older hotel but for the price, you cant do much better than this in Miyakojima unless you want to pay hundreds more at the high end places. There are some restaurants and a Family Mart within walking distance but you will need a car to get around. All in all very happy with our stay overall. One caveat: If you don't speak Japanese you'll need to use Google translate a lot. Once you figure it out you’ll be good to go.

The bed was horrible. I didn’t sleep even with padding the mattress with the other beds comforter. I camp and sleep on the ground, it would have been more comfortable than this. The cleaning staff was great. The management at the front desk, not so much
The hotel is very close to the city's main commercial streets, where most stores and restaurants are located.
The staff is very friendly and professional.
The view is nice, but the commercial port's noise started very early in the morning. If you are very sensitive to the noise, bring your earplugs.
Just so you know, they don't have a safe in the room(at least in our twin bedroom).
We were pretty satisfied though for sure.
The syaff was condescending and it was overpriced for what it was. I thought ocean view was included with the deluxe room I reserved but they didnt honor the reservation and then were rude about it.
Aging property in desperate need of renovation. Beds were uncomfortable, only one pillow. Photos online are deceiving, this place faces a loud and busy port. No shade by the pool. Breakfast is all Japanese, not even the coffee is good. Too expensive for what you get.

Liked: Room comfort
I actually felt a bit let down based on The other reviews. Maybe during because of breach of language, we felt the front desk was not too helpful during our stay. We needed more than one pillow and they said no, wanted to rent a helmet for bikes and the answer was no. So we felt disappointed.

I did not experience the property, booking and not doing enough research, compounded by poor representation to realize that it’s not located on Okinawa island and only accessible via flight. The property does not offer a refund, and my experience with customer service was rather poor to the point where I am strongly considering to never use Expedia as means to book any sort of vacation in the future, but also sharing my experience to protect my fellow colleagues.
