Kishinobo was a wonderful stay at a Temple inn. The staff and hosts were all so nice and helpful as we navigated our way in this new area. The food was amazing and so pleasant.I thank everyone who made our stay warm and welcoming.
Nestled up on the way to Mt Minobu, it's close to Kuonji Temple and the Ropeway, which you can reach on foot (though there is a bit of an incline.)
The hosts were friendly and the room was exceptionally modern whilst set in a more traditional guesthouse building.
Meals were also a highlight as they were well balanced and delicious.
When I arrived I was greeted by a very sweet old lady and man. They showed me to my room with so much kindness. I could feel the love. My room has strong air conditioning (very important during summer) I was served an incredible dinner in a private room and I enjoyed a bath. A young man spoke very good English to me and suggested I wake up at 5am to watch the monks chant. I did and loved it. They served me an amazing breakfast the next day and I left. I loved staying here very much, I will remember it forever.
