Lovely stay at the castle inn. Room was great, evening meal and breakfast lovely and staff very friendly. Left my headphones in bedroom and Patsy kindly got in touch to let me know and then posted them back to me.

Loved our room!

We had a lovely room with a beautiful oriental bed and a balcony. The bed was more comfortable than ours at home! Staff were friendly and eager to see to our needs. Breakfast was very nice 😊

We have stayed at the Castle Inn quite a few times now and have always found it to be excellent, The staff are always very friendly and welcoming and go the extra mile to make sure you have a good stay. It is right in the heart of the village of Porlock and an excellent base to explore Exmoor! We will definitely be back!

Our third time at the Castle and loved it just as much. Lovely hosts, fabulous breakfast and a big spacious room. Only wished we could have stayed longer than the 3 nights booked!

Lovely people and great hotel. Only downside was there were no change of towels or bed made. We were there 3 nights so would have been nice. Breakfast excellent. Loved it cos it was dog friendly too. Definitely recommend

A gem in a beautiful place

Wonderful experience, a very warm welcome. The staff are very friendly, the room and en-suite was a very good size. The breakfast was fantastic, we ate both nights here and the food was excellent and very well priced. The price of drinks was the very reasonable. Will definitely return.

Nice spot to stay if walking the coast path

Very peaceful and enjoyable stay.for one night stopover whilst walking the SW Coast Path. Quick, easy, friendly check-in. Nice, quiet, refurbished room with excellent shower and comfy bed. Plug in bathroom sink didn't work properly. Excellent, freshly cooked breakfast and nice evening dinner at a reasonable price.
