In the absolute center of the Miltenberg old village. Hotel building from year 1508, renovated with great care. Nice rooms. Quite a memory.

Quick one-night stay

Quaint hotel in the center of town. The room definitely played into the history of the town, sticking to the exposed timbers and cozy feel. The bathroom however looked BRAND new, which was appreciated.

Vallis the owner was above helpful. Cannot say enough good. The hotel is from 1532 and is in the center square near everything. The common areas including the entrance is very original and not ADA friendly but worth the effort. I enjoyed the room over the town square with a nice sitting area to people watch. Would book it again anythine.

Hotel Schmuckkastchen is in a perfect location in Miltenburg. It is in a 15c half timbered building, directly beneath the schloss with an accessible hiking trail. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would go back. Our main concern is that the hotel expects check-in no later than 6pm.which was a problem for our itinerary and we had to race like mad to arrive by 6:05pm as it takes time to find the hotel in the town if you miss the turn onto Hauptstrasse. We had to call and were told there would be an additional charge if we arrived after 6:10pm. Parking is in a town lot, and we were directed to a lot that was not the closest lot to the hotel which was annoying. Also, the breakfast is very nice but you need to order it and they bring a prepared plate. It would have been easier just to order the eggs and just set the rolls, cheese, and other breakfast items on a table so people can just help themselves. But the breakfast was very good in any case.

Schönes individuelles Zimmer im Nebengebäude. Es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum. Mitten in der Altstadt gelegen. Kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz 3 min zu Fuß entfernt. Frühstück im Haupthaus unten in der Weinstube. Frühstück sehr einfach gehalten, aber man wird satt. Personal beim Frühstück naja.

Wir haben 2 Nächte im Hotel verbracht und waren wirklich total enttäuscht, da das Hotel ein wunderschönes, historisches Gebäude ist. Der Zustand des Zimmers war aber katastrophal: alles in den 80er Jahren letztmals renoviert und sehr runtergekommen. Was uns richtig geärgert hat, dass das Zimmer (insbesondere das Bad) nicht sauber war. Wir hätten uns ja auch beschwert, aber die Rezeption war nie besetzt… Für den Preis eine Frechheit!
