Perfect location 30 mins drive from SouthEast side of mount Etna, perfect for relaxing evening after a day of hiking. Parking included. We were surprised to find multiple good local restaurants within 20 mins of walking even if this small town (Milo) for dinner. Staff exceptionally friendly. Rooms are renovated but the kitchen/living room is not; think old country house setting. We did not plan on hanging out in the common areas therefore did not affect us. Breakfast was decent (cappuccino, cake, bread and salami). Overall good value for price but would not stay more than 1 night.

The property was beautiful and service was very good. Whilst accepting that it was unusually hot summer, the air conditioner was ineffective and did not provide any relief making it impossible to sleep in the night.

B&B about 1/4 up Mount Etna. The draw for me was the location; about a half hr by car to the north side peak access (Piano Provenzana). Quiet, secluded, location with gated parking. They have a good system to give you anytime access without needing coordination (remote for gate) once checked in. Very generous, substantial breakfast (cold cuts, cooked egg, toast -- not just a single Cornetto as many other places). Decor is spartan but functional. Some things are a little dated but it is a house in the mountains. Milo is also pretty quiet -- I was there on a weekend but there was a festival and most of the few restaurants were closed. Google routed me to the wrong address and you won't see the sign if you come up from Giarre directly (the sign is more visible coming from Milo). My host spoke little English (and I spoke less Italian) but he was attentive and helpful and went the extra mile when I discovered that my two-prong Europe plug did not work in Sicily. I would definitely stay again if I ever return to Etna.

Il bagno indicato privato è fuori dalla stanza con sanitari vecchi, tavoletta rotta ed incollata, doccia nella vasca senza tenda e uno scaldino elettrico appoggiato su uno sgabello. La camera è discreta ma non siamo riusciti ad aprire le finestre e anche qui con uno scaldino elettrico sul comodino.

Déception pour la chambre.

L'endroit est charmant, et l'accueil agréable. En revanche, notre chambre (cheminée) n'avait pas d'ouverture extérieure (une petite fenêtre donne sur un réduit intérieur abritant les machines à laver), donnait directement dans la salle commune (bruit le matin de bonne heure), et notre douche était bloquée sur eau brûlante sans aucune autre possibilité. Nous avons donc annulé la deuxième nuit prévue. Rien à dire sur l'accueil reçu qui était comme écrit plus haut très cordial.

Un cadre unique et très tranquille. L'hôte d'accueil au petit soin pour nous. Le gîte se trouve à côté d'un petit village avec une épicerie et un restaurant très bon. Les randonnées autour de l'Etna sont toutes proches en voiture

Luca made us feel at home right from the start. He is a generous and friendly host, and takes care to see you have all you need, including great coffee! His evening meal was one of the best we ate in Sicily. Highly recommended.

Heel leuk knus b&b. Erg leuke mensen. Leggen veel uit, voor etna of je volgende bestemming. In de avond kan je er ook eten, wel van te voren aangeven in de ochtend of bij aankomst. Grote tuin om in te relaxen.

Charmant et très agréable

Charmante maison d'hôte sur la route de l'Etna, bien équipée, au calme, avec un beau jardin et piscine. Notre chambre disposait d'une grande salle de bain privative de l'autre côté du couloir ainsi que d'un accès direct sur le jardin. Luca et Marina (et leur ami) sont des hôtes très accueillants, aux petits soins et de très bon conseil sur nos activités. Et que dire de la cuisine ... nous ne nous attendions absolument pas à rencontrer une telle qualité autant au petit déjeuner qu'au diner. Encore merci d'avoir préparé des plats spéciaux pour nous ! En somme, un séjour super.
