This place was absolutely amazing. Get the Lakeview. It will not disappoint. The kitchen is well stocked. They thought of everything!

I liked my stay very much. I would definitely stay there again.

Lots of bugs in room, mold in bathrooms, broken vending, no breakfast, pool not clean

The Oliver Hotel is a short-term vacation rental being represented as a hotel. There is no staff and telephone support is not able to resolve basic problems. I contacted customer service to request a code for my room as the link I received provided a code only for the main door, but the customer service rep told me I would just have to wait for another link. There is no staff onsite to assist customers. Expedia customer service would have to contact the property manager. At that point, I suggested it would be better to just cancel the reservation as the whole situation seemed very frustrating. The Expedia representative contacted the property manager who was unable to assist, so the Expedia rep sent an email to the property owner. I was told I would receive a call from the property management the following day. I didn't have access to the room, and I couldn't speak with anyone who could give me access to the room or cancel my reservation. I didn't receive a code for the room until 7:45pm. At that point I had already gotten a room at a property that has staff, so we did not use the room at Oliver Hotel. My request for a refund was denied. I never received a call from property management. I paid for a room I was not able to use.

This property is very beautiful. We loved everything about it, and despite it being pretty busy, it was quiet and peaceful. Our only issue is that we had a lot of luggage for a very long trip across multiple states and there wasn't a whole lot of luggage storage in our room. Breakfast at the property in the morning was lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the living room and on the huge porch to read and enjoy the sunshine. We took a walk through the beautiful neighborhood to check out the other local mansions, too.

This is a one and done kind of stay for us. The hotel was highly recommended and overrated. And overpriced. We decided to eat breakfast in the hotel, very expensive and it wasn’t worth eating. Places that put a high price tag on everything should remember the standards should be set that high as well. The view we paid for, we got. The outside amenities were very nice. Our objective is not to condemn the entire establishment we enjoyed our room and the bed was very comfortable. Room coffee would be great if it was the same brand as the front door, that was great!
