Six Senses Kaplankaya is a beautiful resort in an incredible location, with amazing amenities. Everything is very clean and well maintained, the rooms are lovely, and the concierge staff are wonderful and incredibly attentive.
The spa is huge and very relaxing, but the reception area and room corridors felt a little large and devoid of soul. Otherwise, the resort itself is fantastic — the multiple beaches are pristine and the scenery is stunning.
Our main disappointment was the food and restaurant service. The prices are high for the standard, and the service was inconsistent. On four of our five dinners, something was forgotten — either part of our meal or, on one occasion, our order wasn’t taken at all. For a resort of this standard, that was quite surprising.
The Japanese restaurant was the exception. The food and service were both excellent.
Overall, a beautiful place with fantastic facilities, but the dining experience needs some improvement to match the standard of the resort.
