Friendly hotel in Milan's Niguarda

The hotel has some of the friendliest workers. When I checked in, the front desk staff took my luggage to my room in the upstairs annex, even though it didn't have an elevator. They had a minibar close to the front desk, and were very keen to sell me the sparkling water "frissante". Breakfast was in a room in the main building. It had a good selection of items.

Overall is a nice hotel,was convenient location for me,be aware they have parking but it will cost you 20€ for 24h,we did park for free on the street close to hotel.

Hotel reception allowed us free parking due to having a disabled badge which was brilliant. Showers do not drain, ended up with a flood. Breakfast was good. Good transport links into the city. Hotel is in 3 blocks, only block a has a lift. Good little area with a football table. Room was ok but not overly clean. Air con was working unlike many reviews I’ve read. Basic rooms but ok for a night or 2 if out exploring during the day.

There is a nice cafe within walking distance. While the location did not have much else around, the tram stop across the street was convenient to access the rest of the city. While we enjoyed the convenience, we were disappointed that the air conditioning and hot water did not work properly. Compared to other hotels around northern Italy, it was a bit outdated (elevators, bathrooms, etc.). Parking was a hassle to figure out and cost €20 each night.

No A/C ,No Blankets Dirty rooms Showers get clogged while bathing.. We were told to grab two pillows from the counter and no one could atleast drop them. When we complained about AC , we were asked that why we asked fornblankets if AC wasnt working.

No working Air Conditioner

The air conditioner was not working. We told them after checking in and they said they’ll get someone to fix it the next day instead of offering a room with working AC. My son and husband could not sleep in the heat so they slept in the lobby. The next day after returning from a day of sightseeing, it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit and the AC was still not working. We suffered another night in the heat and couldn’t sleep. Again, my husband and son went to the lobby to sleep but it was uncomfortable with mosquitos. The only positive thing about the hotel was the breakfast. They have remodeling construction next to our room so during the day, it was a lot of loud banging. The hotel is also 30 minute bus ride from City Central so not very close to anything. When I discovered how far they were from City Central, the hotel booking was non-refundable so I was stuck with it and really regret booking this location. I would give it 1 star only for the breakfast.
