Hotel Royal – French Quarter, New Orleans Rating: 4/5 Hotel Royal is an incredible home base if you want to be right in the heart of the action. Located just steps from Bourbon Street and nestled in the center of the French Quarter, you're within easy walking distance of almost everything you'd want to see, eat, and experience in the area. Having a police station right down the street also gives a nice, reassuring sense of added security in such a lively neighborhood. The true highlight of the stay was the staff—they were beyond amazing and delivered exceptional hospitality from check-in to check-out, making us feel welcome and well cared for throughout our visit. While the guest rooms are a bit outdated and could use a modern refresh, the historic charm and convenience more than compensate. It's clean, cozy, and perfectly comfortable for a few days' getaway. If location, service, and accessibility are top priorities for your New Orleans trip, Hotel Royal is a solid choice.

Everything was amazing till our checkout. We where offered a late check out so we planned around that, then to our surprise they cancel our late checkout and claimed they never offered it. If you are planing a late check out make sure you get it in writing.
