The Fletcher hotel is very accessible from the train station and this was great for us as we arrived late evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful but the restaurant was rather limited so we ate out, other than the first evening. Rooms are clean but on the small side and there can be noise from the street area. The hotel is in a good location for seeing around Middelburg.

Location is perfect 3min walk from the train station and 5min from the centre. Breakfast and facilities in the room could be better but in general very satisfied in terms of cleanliness, quiet and located in a safe area. Heating in the room is fine but no AC in rooms which might be an issue in summer.

Great hotel near the train station. Had a really nice view from long balcony. The staff was great and gave me everything I asked for. Only complaint was they didn’t have any small towels for my face. But pretty minor. There is sister Fletcher hotel next door. Downtown is 5-10 min walk. City closed up early. Hotel bar indoors and outdoors nice. Typical European breakfast. Some minor changes daily. Some other nice hotels on same street facing canal. Would stay there again. Fletcher hotel is nice chain.

Good hotel

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good and we had a nice view of the canal from our room. It wasn’t the biggest room (there was only space for one bedside table) but the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. There was good safe storage for our bikes.
