The resort is very nice and feels fairly new. The staff is excellent, and I booked through Expedia, which included a butler named Raul. He was outstanding and made our stay much more enjoyable.
The biggest downside was the beach. During this time of year, it wasn’t very clean, and unlike many resorts in the U.S., the beach wasn’t cleaned every morning.
Another drawback was getting around the property. The walk from the rooms to the lobby and restaurants can be quite long. Golf carts are available every few minutes, but you may still find yourself waiting or walking quite a bit.
The restaurants were excellent, but keep in mind that most are only open for dinner and require reservations, so plan ahead.
One piece of advice: stay away from the people in green shirts trying to sell the travel club membership. They will spend a lot of time trying to convince you to join, with memberships starting around $15,000. For us, it was a complete waste of time and not worth sitting through the sales presentation.
Overall, we had a great stay thanks to the beautiful resort, excellent staff, and exceptional service from Raul. Just be prepared for the long walks, make your dinner reservations early, and politely decline the travel club presentation if you’re not interested.

I liked all. But it would benefit to have more entertainment for guests

We are a group of 5 people. We had two rooms both with a jacuzzi terrace and a pool view. The rooms were spacious and great.
When you check in there is a check in lounge that is very clean and has refreshments and snacks. Check in was super easy and because we were VIP we had an assigned butler. Our butler was Fabio and he was great. We got there early so our room was not ready yet but we enjoyed lunch and Fabio gave us a tour of the property and also showed us the Magestic Mirage app where you can make reversions for restaurants beforehand and find tons of information about the resort.
The food was alright. Could have been better. We went to Kabuki, the Japanese restaurant twice. We did the sit in sushi and the food was good and we did hibachi which could have been better.
Our rooms were not ready until after 3pm so this was a bit upsetting even though the wait wasn’t super thing. Clean rooms and very spacious.
There is a VIP Lounge for VIP guests. The beach was clean, Bartenders were great. Overall I enjoyed it.
We did the banana boat and there are vendors on the beach so be aware. For the banana boat we got life vests but the man leading does not ensure the vest is secured and he flipped us in the ocean and one of our friends almost drowned. It was scary and I wish they gave a bit more information but I also don’t think they are associated with the hotel directly.
Other than that everything was smooth and great.
