The beach was amazing and definitely one of the best parts of the resort. The shows and entertainment were also very enjoyable and well done. However, the buffet food was almost the same every day, and there were not many seafood options. Overall, we still had a good experience.

Pretty much everything about the resort was great - staff, food, cleanliness, etc. What was awful and made for a very unpleasant stay we the extremely loud DJ's playing techno music which made it impossible to spend time on the beach or sleep well at night. It was unclear to me why adults needed this type of stimulation and prevented people from enjoying the beach and some peace and quiet. There were other guests that had the same unpleasant experience but reception passed us on to speak with "client services" as they were the ones who contracted what they called "animators" to pump up the guests. It would have been an entirely different story if there had been Dominican music which I imagine exists in the culture but not of that was experienced. I do know that I would not go back to that resort which is unfortunate as the beach was beautiful (no seaweed) but unenjoyable.

Great stay! Big thanks to Ramon Antonio Perez who made my father’s 80th birthday and our whole stay, the greatest! Pros: The hotel is very nice and new, rooms are comfy and big, food at the buffet and a la carte restaurants is great, the beach is awesome and the staff is everything you wish for in hospitality. Cons: The animation staff was not what we expected and im sorry to say but when you travel to a different country you expect to see, enjoy and learn from their culture but when instead you find that almost the entire animation staff is from a foreign country it just makes no sense. Dominican culture should be only represented by Dominican people, i have nothing against any country, it was just a confusing and kind of weird experience. This place is fairly new and i know Miches is in development now so i really hope things change in the future at Viva Miches when it comes to animation. Dominican talent, men and women, are the best at representing their culture and history.

It’s very clean The staff is great The food is also good The weird part is you are only allowed one beach towel swap per day!! And they don’t care if it rained or not… you end up dripping back to your room by the end of the day

Perfect beach. Hotels needs serious help with services. All round shortages of: plates, glasses, cups, certain drinks and even meals. If you weren’t first in line for fish on the grill - they would run out in ten minutes. Waiting in line for glasses for a drink. No place in any restaurant. Etc. infrastructure is brand new but services were awful.

Property is beautiful. Only complaint is about the food. Buffet and restaurant food was not good at all. One exception was dining at Atlantis which was great! Excursions was wonderful! Also, drinks were made with lowest shelf liquor and not great.

Very clean rooms and bonus the hotel is almos new less than 2 years The staff is always nice The pool area is very clean but and this is a huge but there’s almost no umbrellas in the pool area which is really needed The beach area is the same almost no umbrellas but at least you have all the Palmeras for shade They should invest a little more in putting more shade in the pool The food is good and there’s a lot of options to choose My teenagers had a great time I loved that they had sports options such as Kayak and Catamaran for free so that’s a really good thing Overal is very nice hotel and we had a great time

Impossible to get into Al a carts, the buffets were never stocked, they were always running out of certain liquor and did not restock for a couple days, the evening shows were not in English and most of the staff did not speak English. The resort was clean and staff were friendly.

The room’s had a ant issue but luckily my mosquito spray worked to kill them for the time being we were there because the language barrier made it an issue to completely get a different room or the right service to get rid of the ants, but the view was amazing. The rest of my vacation was amazing.

We enjoyed our stay. Pros - new resort, great pool and beach, fun shows each night, friendly staff cons - distance from airport, some things still being worked on, but wasn't a bother to us, smaller compared to other resorts and restaurants had to be reserved at midnight 48 hrs ahead of time.

I would have given 5 stars however when my room was cleaned on Friday the 13th the housekeeper took my own personal wash clothes and they were in my own personal ziplock bag anc clearly didn’t have viva monogram in them ! The staff was attentive at the restaurant, enjoyed the shopping but could use more stores or something additional when it rains to have access too !

The resort was awesome! My friends and I went to celebrate university graduation and it was perfect; lively, but not a party resort. The staff are great and the resort itself was very clean. The food was also decent. There are many options everyday at the buffet and if you want fancier, each restaurant offers something different. 10/10 recommend!!

The service is terrible. They refuse to make drinks unless they are easy and fast otherwise they say they don’t have example if you ask for an iced coffee at the bar they tell you they don’t have milk or a margarita they say they don’t have tequila but they can give you beer on tap. The resort is very clean and the staff that works at the reception lobby are very nice and responsive.

This resort was very quiet and peaceful everywhere but in the rooms. Throughout the day, from early morning to late evening, you hear the carts going back and forth from the workers. As well as them laughing and talking in the halls. The entertainment people that we normally see all throughout the resorts were not around. We saw them one day at the snack area with games, but had to actually ASK to play the games with them. There was four of them at the table talking amongst each other. The buffet had a variety of decent food. We tried the restaurants, but still ended up going to the buffet. The staff was friendly. They don't cater to the customers, but will assist if asked. I'm not a partier, but enjoy people watching as they dance and have a good time. There wasn't a lot for me to watch here. It wasn't a bad resort, it just was not the fun vibe that we are used to.

Everyone that worked there so nice and is so very helpful. The resort is beautiful and the area is also so very beautiful. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and speaks quite a few different languages. Johnathan taught me a lot about the Dominican Republic punta cana and Mitches. Thank you so much for making our trip so special. God bless

The hotel is new & beautiful. The location is secluded there is nothing to do outside the hotel only the excursion that are offered exclusively by the hotel. Food is not good at buffet or snack bar. For the ala cart restaurants you can only reserve 3 days in advance good and bad depending on how many days you are staying I was only able to try the Mediterranean restaurant in a 5 day stay. The staff is very nice & attentive but some times very slow and no the hotel was not packed. Entrainment at all times was great.
