The staff was really great. John checked me in and was very helpful and thorough and kind. The location is amazing, right down the street from the beach and not far from the convention center, which is where my event was for the weekend. The Marlin is a lovely Art Deco (1939) building with 3 accomodation levels. Location was terrific - only 1 block from the beach. Room was clean, spacious and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Please note that there is no pool in this hotel, similar I would imagine to other hotels of this era. Walking to distance to lots of restaurants and bars.
