We enjoyed a weeks stay at the Gates Hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful throughout. The rooms were cleaned every day and we had use of the Honu facilities on Gates Beach. I’d recommend the hotel to anyone and we would definitely stay there again.

The staff at The Gates Hotel were friendly, welcoming, and did their best to help throughout my stay. Unfortunately, I was disappointed that several amenities advertised by the hotel were not actually available or accessible during my visit. While the customer service was good, the overall experience fell short of expectations because of the missing amenities. I hope the hotel improves communication about what is and isn’t available so guests can plan accordingly.

The hotel overall was well maintained. It’s located in a quiet area The hotel is a reasonable walk to local attractions such as the Bass Museum, Lincoln Road Mall, and the ballet. The beach access is a block away. The pool was a little small and sometimes crowded.

The staff at this hotel made the place great. Adonis and Mike at the pool bar! Christie at the front desk! The valets are great too. Rooms are very clean! Pool is great. The only bad thing is it said they have room service and they don't. But i would definitely stay again!
