We were pleasantly surprised by our stay! Great South Beach location within walking distance of so much, plus easy beach access with chairs, umbrellas, and towels included. The pool area was also very nice. The staff was friendly, especially Sebastian at the Laurel Restaurant—he was great! We also appreciated being able to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend!

There is no mirror I had to ask for a mirror and the corners of the bed stuck out which we struck our legs on every time we walked by. Bathroom was really small. Other than that, it was a very nice stay. We enjoyed it very nice people.

This place was amazing! Great proximity to the beach (across the street) and night life on Ocean Drive. Staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, very responsive and very polite. Customer service may be a thing of the past, but not at the Balfour. Room was very clean, neat and pleasant. Only concern, and it was not terribly bad, the carpet in the halls was stained in several places and not a fair representation of the remainder of the grounds. Classy place, charm, history and style. Did I say the staff was awesome, haha because they were. Thanks Balfour for a great visit.

We loved this hotel, a treasure we are glad to have discovered! Particularly appreciated the warmth and friendliness of the staff, the weekend morning, yoga session sessions. Would only request that they be made available a few more days like perhaps Thursday and Friday also. The hotels location is outstanding, on Ocean drive, very close to the sidewalk, cafés and bars, but not right in the middle of them. Also, the location being immediately across the street from the walkway to the beach. We would highly recommend this Hotel and hope to return on future occasions!

The location is fantastic! The front desk was very hospitable. Laurel, the restaurant, was outstanding!!! Definitely recommend the food. The bathrooms were incredibly small but overall it was good for our short stay. Easy walk to the beach.
