My wife and I stayed at this hotel between Jan 29 to 31. At first glance, the hotel was nicely decorated, and the staff were welcoming and helpful.
However, this was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had in Mid Beach, Miami.
During our stay, nighttime temperatures dropped to 5–7°C (41–45°F). The room heating did not work at all. The ventilation system was extremely loud yet produced no warm air. The only solution offered was extra blankets. For three nights, we slept in sweaters and even tried to warm the room with a hair dryer—something I never expected to do in 2026.
Noise was another major issue. On the first night, loud talking, music, and sexual noises woke the entire floor around 2:00 AM. On the second night, hallway noise and loud elevator announcements continued. There is virtually no soundproofing, and despite being a deep sleeper in a room far from the elevators, I woke up every night.
The third night was the worst: at 1:59 AM, another guest tried to force open my door. I woke up in panic and yelled, after which they found their own room. With an airport transfer at 5:00 AM, I spent the next day at a trade fair exhausted.
To make matters worse, I later noticed insect bites around my ankles, possibly from bed bugs or other insects.
Three nights resulted in three sleepless, stressful nights. This hotel felt less safe and louder than budget motels or dorm-style accommodations.
I will never stay here again.
