Hotel Croydon is a nice small boutique hotel. The rooms were very clean and roomy. The restaurant food was excellent with good size portions. The beach is just across the way, a two minute walk. The hotel overall is in a good location. There is a free trolley that can take you to Lincoln Avenue which is a great area for shopping and just walking - restaurants, cafe's etc.

I was somewhat disappointed with my stay. The hotel itself was okay, but the description and photos on the booking website did not accurately reflect reality. The breakfast, pool, rooftop area, and even the location were not what I expected based on the information provided. The room was smaller than expected, no place to sit except the bed or a hard bench at end of bed. The staff were amazingly polite, professional and helpful. The remote didn't work and the mini-fridge was not working, however, the staff immediately responded, maintenance arrived within 5 minutes and replaced both items, apologized and ensured I didn't need anything else. The parking near the hotel is horrible, but I prepaid for a spot in a close-by lot, didn't come back until late when I'd go somewhere, so my spot was always there (with a small walk to the hotel). The hotel is a block off Miami Beach with towels and chairs supplied at front desk. Very beautiful terrace on the roof and a nice pool area, lotion and after sun lotion supplied poolside. I enjoyed my stay and the hotel atmosphere was cohesive to my rest and relaxation Memorial Day weekend!

Family vacation. Super friendly staff. Room was clean, but I'd say small but did satisfy our needs. Easy walk to the beach. Pool area was pleasant. The only concern to point out would be parking. There is no on-site parking and there are 2 options 1) pay $50 per day at some nearby garage or 2) pay $8 and walk 10 minutes over the intercostal bridge. I chose option 2) and was fine with that walk since the weather was good.

I absolutely love the Croydon! I’ve stayed here before and it’s so convenient. Great restaurant onsite, feel of a boutique-style hotel, the room is standard (at least the one I stayed in) but it’s perfect and clean. Street parking available, I parked right in front of the main entrance and left my car there the entire stay. My only complaint is the gym. Not much of one, really. It’s outdoors with an awning, some rusted weights, bikes and a bench. Definitely expected more because the hotel is so lovely. This won’t deter me from staying here again, though, I’d definitely be back. Just something to think about for a future space.
