The staff is professional and there is a free breakfast. About 4 blocks (walking distance) there are 3-4 restaurants. Free parking. The rooms need to be updated with fresh paint and caulk around the shower. Nightstands by the bed would facilitate putting down your book or glasses for the night. In our room, there were few outlets, making it difficult to charge phones.

Outstanding staff and check in. Once at the hotel travel accommodations to the cruise ship was set up for me along with offering to setup hotel stay and pickup from cruise. They also offered to setup air transport also. Wonderful service.

Mold and mildew in bathroom, Shower very slippery, hallways carpet filthy, people outside the room AC smoking and drinking emitting smell to emit into room. The best part was its location and access to area. Staff was hit or miss.

The hotel was dirty. The bathroom had mildew or mold all over the floor. The shower handle was broken off so not sure we could have taken a shower if we wanted to. There was no blanket on the bed—just a top sheet. But given the cleanliness, that was probably a good thing. The wall AC unit woke us up everyone it turned on. We waited for over an hour for the airport shuttle. All in all it gave us a place to sleep for the night, but if it hadn’t been so late we would have left and stayed elsewhere.

Based on previous reviews it was better than expected. 5 stars for clean and comfortable, everything in our room was great. Yes, rooms are small, still nice. Clearly this is an older building so they are working with what they got. And they did have blankets- so many said there was only a sheet. The blanket was on a bench shelf. Breakfast was as expected, not fancy but just fine. Shuttle was also great, our driver was so nice, loaded and unloaded bags, and was wonderful. We did fill up at the airport so others did have to probably wait a while there, but driver told them he would be back. The bad part now: lobby/halls smelled very strongly of mold. Room smelled strong also but different- can not place the smell. And bathroom- so clean and nice but so small the shower, door, and toilet were all touching. So if you are bigger you may literally not fit on the toilet as it is between the wall and shower with no room between. But the staff was great, we felt safe and clean and got a good nights sleep.

Here’s a stronger, clearer way to include that point — firm, credible, and not legally risky. I’ll integrate it smoothly into your review so it reads polished and I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. The room had cockroaches, which is unacceptable at any price point. The building is very old, and the overall condition reflects that. The bed was uncomfortable, the toilet seat was extremely small, and the room was very noisy, making it difficult to rest. The photos on the hotel’s website and on Expedia do not reflect the real condition of the property. The actual state of the rooms and common areas is far worse than what is shown online, which feels misleading for guests trying to make an informed decision. There is no elevator, so all rooms on the second floor require carrying luggage up the stairs. The lobby seating is also very uncomfortable — the chairs sink in and offer no support. On the positive side, the night‑shift staff was very kind and helpful, and the Wi‑Fi worked well. Overall, the hotel needs significant updates to meet basic comfort and cleanliness standards, and the online photos should be updated to accurately represent the property.

I do not normally write reviews, but this hotel is inaccurately represented. To begin with, there was no one at the front desk for 15 minutes upon arrival. The lobby is very small. Check-in at 3 is strictly adhered to (no exceptions), which leaves multiple people in a small space some of which are sick (sneezing and coughing). There is NO elevator which is not ADA compliant. The bathroom is smaller than a cruise ship bathroom. The room has a bed with just a thin sheet on it -- no comforter or duvet. There is a blanket in the closet. There was a smell of marijuana in the hallway and loud talking in the courtyard after midnight. The breakfast room was a very small, hot room that was not necessarily clean (crumbs on the counter well after breakfast had ended). There are homeless people outside of the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel. I did not feel safe here.
