  • This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!

Everything was almost spot on! The staff was helpful, Breakfast was great, The only one thing, if you slept near the window, it was loud on the street and had a hard time going to sleep. I was on the 16th floor. Other than that, Great!

The condition of the hotel is poor, and several snacks in the convenience section were expired. I alerted staff as I didn’t want to be charged for removing them, but when I checked prior to checkout, they had not been removed. I called the day before arriving about using the pool and was told it was operational, upon arriving it was under construction and had been for some time.

Clean room, small room. A bit outdated. 12-15 walk to the market area in the port - which was enjoyable. Pillows not good, beds not comfortable. Free breakfast was a nice touch! Good place to stay for one night, which was the case for us. It fit its purpose for a quick nights rest before embarking the ship the next morning.

We enjoyed our time at the Comfort Inn. The convenience and the locality was great. We enjoyed watching the ships at the Miami Gateway. The staff was very kind and took great care of us and the rooms were very clean. The complementary breakfast was good and convenient and there were many really excellent restaurants in the area. We would stay again.

Loved our room. We ask for a king which they didn’t have so they gave us two queen beds in a suite overlooking the canal which had boats. Kitchen area, living room, bedroom. Couch had a pull out bed. Huge bathroom and closet space was a walk in closet. So yes we were very happy with our room. Free wi-fi. We did find some stores and eateries close by. Within walking distance.

This was a super convenient location to the Port of Miami. We we're able to easily be dropped off via Uber the evening before and walk to nearby Black Market for a good dinner. There was a breakfast buffet available. There was a conference nearby and a ton of people but the line went quickly and they kept the buffet well stocked. Starbucks was a short walk away for a good morning coffee. We were picked up by Uber and made it to the port in about 15 minutes. I highly recommend this location if you're cruising. We were able to walk the river walk to waste some time both days and check things out.

Location is great. Room was large and clean. Toilet was not working properly. Elevators were loud and very slow. Breakfast was less than desirable. Front desk staff was helpful. Bar options were limited.

This was a very nice place to stay and very convenient to the James L. Knight Center where we had our convention. Staff was very nice and rooms were super clean and updated. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because our room faced out towards the roads and the traffic noise was almost unbearable at night with cars drag racing all night long. I realize the hotel cannot control that, but maybe better windows to help buffer the noise? Otherwise I highly recommend this hotel.
