I wouldn’t stay here again! I recommend this place if you need a local budget friendly option to just sleep and get out the room and enjoy miami. The rooms could have been cleaner we requested room to be cleaned for 3 days they communicated it would be done and never did it until our last day! Went to the rooftop pool which was small and dirty so many hair balls were in it ! The other pool is much bigger and deeper if you’re actually wanting to take a dip not sure if it was any cleaner because I didn’t go. Best thing about the hotel was convenience it had two restaurants and 3 bars located on property . They also had a happy hour everyday for guest from 6-7 which we enjoyed the bartender there was great!

Prime location. Literally walking distant to almost anything you need. The TV in my room didn’t work due to the lack of internet connection. I called the front desk plus approached the desk numerous times and there was no one there to assist me after 8pm. So there’s that. Also, the pool closes at 7pm, pretty early.

Great location, friendly staff, decent bar/food, but very misleading advertisement compared to what you’ll actually get for a room. Had to ask for a deep clean (no other rooms available) upon arrival because the cleanliness of my room was not acceptable, & while they did send housekeeping to make it “better”, it was still very bare minimum level of cleaning. Pools were unfortunately pretty disgusting in my opinion, but these issues didnt matter to me very much because I came here to go out a lot & be at the beach, so I wasn’t really using the hotel much.

On arrival we were assigned a room on ground floor of the building to the right of the main reception starting with M. However we found the room in poor state, WiFi didn’t work, TV either, was in poor condition and generally not nice. We returned to reception and were given another room in the main Catalina building. This building was much nicer, room similar size but it was much better in condition with WiFi TV and no noisy air con machine. In general the hotel is decent enough. Food was acceptable but as ever Miami prices. Good location for south beach and airport and getting around generally easy with Ubers etc. I would stay again but only if I could get a room in nicer part. Pool on roof was likewise nice enough
